Can you let us know if you get any Blue Screen crush error while using your comptuer? Generally we can safely ignore the errors in the Event log. Aas we don't if you have get other issues in your computer, you can test your computer in the Clean Boot mode. This method will help us determine if this issue is caused by a loading program or service. You can try the the following steps:1. Click the Start Button type "msconfig" (without quotation marks) in the Start Search box, and then press Enter.2. Click the "Services" tab, check the "Hide All Microsoft Services" box and click "Disable All" (if it is not gray). 3. Click the "Startup" tab, click "Disable All" and click "OK". Then, restart the computer. When the "System Configuration Utility" window appears, please check the "Don't show this message or launch the System Configuration Utility when Windows starts" box and click OK. Please test this issue in this Clean Boot environment, if the issue disappears in the Clean Boot environment, you can use the dichtomy to quickly narrow down which entry is causing the issue. You can refer to the KB929135. Good luck! John

When did the error messge begin to occurr? It's better to help us collect a screenshot, then upload to your public folder in your SkyDrive. First, please let us know where did you find the error, if you found it in the EVENT log, you can safely ignore them. Please let us know if you have any other issues. In addition, please test if your computer works fine in the Safe mode with Networking.Good luck! John

I get the same error on my windows 7 prof. I can view this error in the |event viewer| Custom Views | Administrative events |Windows seems to take a long time to boot . A little under 2 minutes but other than that no adverse effects that I can notice.

Hi Jrose78,If you found those error in the EVENT log, you can safely ignore them. As your boot time, you can temporarily disable the Startup Group to prevent the startup programs from loading at startup. In that case your boot time would reduce. you can refer to the following steps.1. Click the Start Button and type "msconfig" (without quotation marks) in the Search Box and press Enter.2. Click Continue to verify the permission.3. Select the Services tab in the open window. Check the “Hide all Microsoft Services” option and click Disable All.4. Switch to the Startup tab and click Disable All.5. Click OK to save the settings and select Restart when prompted. Now, the boot time would be short. Good luck!John

John, can you qualify your statement: "error in the event log can safely be ignored" please?

Hi Win7ine, Since most error in the Event log can be repaired by the system automatically, so I tell you that. At this point, please let us know where you found those errors. In my opinion, it's better to your public folder in your SkyDrive. You can also refer to the following KB to read the log.http://support.microsoft.com/kb/308427In my opinion, you can test your computer in safe mode, or in a new account. Good luck!John

Out of interest, do you have Windows Home Server (Connector) installed and in particular the Windows Media Center Connector software? (c:\program files\Home Server\esClient.exe) (I had/have the same error which I can get rid of by disabling the Media Center Connector services which connects to the WHS))

I think this is the right way of resolving the original issue. I removed the WHS conector and reinstalled it without ever executing the "Windows Media Center Connector" and stillhad the Error logged. Then I executed the media center connector, removed and reinstalled the WHS connector. Now the error has gone and the Windows Media Center Client service is installed and running as in your snaphot and it does not seem to install with the Windows Media Center Connector since I have not executed it yet.

I got that same error, no BSOD, and I don't have WHS installed. There was one Media Center service (Network Sharing Service) that was automatic-delayed start; I set it to manual as the others are. I guess I'll see if the error recurs...update: I rebooted, looked to see if the error has recurred--it didn't, but the service I set to manual start has set itself back to automatic (delayed start)....? How does that happen?
